dining room light
I love this lamp. We tried FIVE lights in the dining room before settling on this one. We needed something that was 'quiet' and still attractive. We tried flush mount, chandeliers, and a pendant before we found this one. This is great. Cons are that it is kind of difficult to get dead insects out of it. It doesn't tip; you have to take apart one ‘leg’ in order to get past the bulbs and get the bugs. And, I do wish it would have held a higher wattage, but I still love how it looks. 8-)
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

A: I checked it out and you can use the new coil floresent bulbs with med base.
